The 9th IAGTO North America Golf Tourism Convention will take place at Trump National Doral Miami, home to the famous Blue Monster golf course, from 25-28 June 2017. Over 150 golf tour operators selling North America will attend the Convention 30 different countries all with North American golf programs. So if developing your domestic or international golf visitor business is important, then this event is not to be missed.

The Convention is open only to golf resorts, golf clubs, hotels, ground handlers and other golf tourism suppliers from the USA, Canada, Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean. Suppliers have the opportunity to introduce themselves to all buyers during 2 hours of speed-dating at the beginning of the first business day. This is followed by 9 and a half hours of meetings over two days where each supplier can have up to 38 appointments of 15 minutes each with tour operators that they wish to see. The business sessions will be preceded by an IAGTO Briefing to ensure you get the most out of your meetings and are fully up to speed with the current state of the market.

The networking-social functions include a Welcome Reception, Farewell Dinner and a Golf Tournament over two amazing golf courses, including the Blue Monster, courtesy of Trump National Doral.

“This was my first NAC show. I thought the appointments were very productive and I met a lot of new people. Obviously people know Monterey for Pebble Beach, but there are a number of courses they are unfamiliar with and I was able to help them with those. We are focusing on China, Canada and Mexico a lot, and I felt I was able to make significant and meaningful connections with those markets, which was very good in terms of our budgets and priorities for next year.
