On Saturday the 16th September 120 local golfers will be competing in the third and final series of the BMW Qualifying Golf Cup International at Aphrodite Hills Golf.  More than half of the participants have pre-qualified to compete and win a trip to South Africa, sponsored by Char. Pilakoutas Ltd., where they will represent Cyprus in an international golf tournament. 

All golfers are welcomed to enter the tournament starting at 8:00 a.m. for £45.00 and will have the chance to win prizes and receive giveaways from the sponsor.

“All BMW events have been a huge success but most of the golfers are especially anticipating this final tournament with aspirations of winning the trip to South Africa or getting a hole in one on the 7th hole to win a BMW”,  according to Pauline Klimentos, Marketing Manager of Aphrodite Hills Golf.

Mr. Pilakoutas said ‘We are thrilled with the joy these tournaments have brought to golfers in Cyprus. Our co-operation with Aphrodite Hills has been very successful; we’ll make sure it will be even more successful in the years to come.”

The tournament will be followed by a gala dinner and a prize giving ceremony at 8:30 p.m. with pre-dinner cocktails available from 8:00 p.m. at the Aphrodite Hills Golf Clubhouse Restaurant.  Top executives of BMW will be present and partners of golfers are welcomed to join the gala dinner for ₤21.00 per person.

The sporting character has always been proclaimed by the BMW brand and this is now evident in Cyprus too. The BMW Golf Cup International is the most visible example of the social sporting commitment by BMW.
