The first edition will take place from the 6th to the 10th of December 2011 in Marrakech (Morocco) - a city and a country well known, respected and admired by SMALTO. Morocco has been one of the first countries which recognized SMALTO’s know-how and talent, developing over the years a faithful and enlightened clientele.
The SMALTO CHAMPIONSHIP is a team amateur golf tournament played during 5 days on 5 unparalleled golf courses. Marrakech, the heart of golf in Morocco, offers courses designed by the most famous architects (Kyle Phillips, Cabell Robinson, Niall Cameron, Robert Trent Jones Sr…), with unique designs, beautiful landscapes and the opportunity to play a great variety of shots : Al Maaden, Amelkis, Assoufid, La Palmeraie, Samanah.
This exceptional event will be the opportunity, for every participant, to improve their swing, according to one leitmotiv: “Play the elegance”.
Registrations are opened to individual and teams. Individual and team best scores will be awarded (format of play: individual and team stableford).Professional are welcome (no professional prize money).
The inaugural SMALTO CHAMPIONSHIP will come with various exclusive gifts, rewarding the best players.
