The 11th Max Clifford Celebrity Golf Challenge is being played under excellent sunny conditions at La Cala Resort on 10th and 11th June, with many stars from the world of showbiz and sport participating with teams of amateur golfers. This event is part of an action packed weekend to raise funds for the Rhys Daniels Trust.

After the first round played on Campo Europa, the leading celebrity is actor Craig Fairbrass with comedian Stan Boardman and ex footballer Rodney Marsh, in second and third place.

Daves Diggers are leading the team's category.

Tomorrow, 11th June, the second and final round will be on Campo Asia with a shotgun start at 10.00 hrs. After the round the prize-giving will be held at the Clubhouse.
