The Azalea Group powers the London Golf & Tennis Show

Specialist golf marketing business The Azalea Group has once again been appointed as the official PR and marketing partner to the London Golf Show, taking place at ExCeL from April 30-May 2, 2010.

This year’s event promises to be the best ever with notable backing coming from the golf industry, including The PGA, the England Golf Partnership (EGP), the English Golf Union (EGU), the English Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) and the Golf Foundation, all of whom are actively supporting the show. The European Tour will also return to the show with an 80 metre stand.

In a significant move, for the first time the show is offering free entry to all golf club members, an initiative that is expected to swell numbers, with plans in place to gear for 30,000 consumer visitors. All they have to do is register online before April 17 at www.londongolfshow.com.

Another new move sees this year’s show incorporate the inaugural London Tennis Show, giving those exhibitors with golf and tennis facilities the chance to meet consumers from both sports. Again, the governing bodies in tennis – the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), the Tennis Industry Association (TIA) and the Tennis Foundation – are endorsing this event.
