MAUNA KEA RESORT, HI - The Mauna Kea Resort, home to The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Golf Course and Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel and Golf Course, has announced the appointment of Duane Otte, PGA, to Head Golf Professional.
Otte will be responsible for golf operations including instructional programs, special events, tournaments, member relations, guest service, promotions and marketing.
Otte brings over 13 years of golf experience to the Resort as an accomplished golf professional and sales manager.

Prior to joining Mauna Kea Resort, Otte worked at the Golf Channel and GolfNow.com as the Market Sales Manager for Hawaii. He has also served as a Golf Professional at the Kona Country Club, Hualalai Resort, the Four Seasons Nevis in the Caribbean and at the Westin La Paloma Resort Hotel.
Otte graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Radio, Television and Film with a Minor in Physical Education from the University of North Alabama. He also attended Yavapai Community College and Pima Community College in Arizona.
He‘s lived in Kona for sixteen years with his wife Dionne and loves to travel with his family.
