Oliva, 02 June 2014.-A cardio protection area is already available in Oliva Nova Golf for all members and golf players, consisting of new defibrillators with remote assistance and geolocation, able to provide immediate and efficient assistance in case of a medical emergency. In this sense, Oliva Nova Golf offers its users a very valuable service for their safety, because the reaction in the first few minutes following an episode of cardiac arrest is vital for the survival and for the minimization of sequels.

The new cardio protection area in Oliva Nova also counts on well-trained staff to guarantee a quick response in case of sudden cardiac arrests, until the arrival of the emergency medical services. The staff of the golf club Oliva Nova has received specific training that enables them to use these devices which restore the cardiac rhythm by means of a controlled electric discharge. The personnel of the golf club will be constantly guide by the remote assistance of Mondial Assistance, whose services include an automatic alert to 112, 24-hour assistance and control by a cyclical test every 12 hours. Thanks to this service and the geolocation of the devices, an ambulance will come to the exact place where the emergency has occurred, in the shortest time possible.
