Join Head Instructor John Borrell as our featured instructor for TOURAcademy on the Road. John has more than 30 years of experience in the golf business and teaching industry, 25 as a PGA Professional. Prior to joining the TOURAcademy this year, John spent much of his time promoting the game of golf in such Latin American countries as Guatemala, El Salvador, Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. He was the first PGA Director of Golf/Director of Instruction for Santo Domingo Country Club, and also taught at Punta Espada Golf Club in the Dominican Republic and the PGA Learning Center in Port St. Lucie, Fla., where he was the Lead Instructor for the PGA of America Schools Throughout his teaching career, John gained experience under some of the nation’s leading instructors, including Mike Bender, Bob Hickman and Rick Martino. He has worked with all skill levels of golfers, including juniors, amputees, people with disabilities, and Special Olympians.

• The TOURAcademy’s popular 2-Day Lite Golf School is a condensed version of the original 4- and 5-day school, perfect for the busy golfer who doesn’t have the time to spend several days away from home. The program teaches basic full swing and short game fundamentals, course strategy, and shot-making skills
