In addition to the generous golf offer Region Emilia-Romagna is well known worldwide for more than 100 miles of white beaches, for the best gastronomy in Italy, for the luxury Motor Valley with Ferrari, Ducati & Lamborghini, for the wonderful historically artistic cities of Bologna, Parma, Modena, Reggio Emilia, Ferrara, Rimini, Salsomaggiore and Ravenna and for so much more.

Emilia Romagna is served by four international airports (Bologna, Rimini, Forlì and Parma) and has the best equipped beaches in Europe, the oldest university in the world (Bologna), more than 4,000 hotels, almost 2,000 restaurants, 60 museums, 10 spas, 16 theme parks, 135 cinemas and theatres, 48 camp sites and tourist villages, more than 2,000 bars and cafés, 3,500 mooring places, 135 banks, 132 discos, 200 amusement arcades, almost 600 public sports centres and 13 tourist harbours.

To celebrate its 25 years of activity Emilia Romagna Golf announces two great news:

- The publication of the new Emilia Romagna Golf 2024 Catalogue

The 2024 Golf Catalogue printed in English and German was officiously presented to the European golfers at the 2024 Golf Messe in Zurich – Switzerland and contains all information about the 22 Golf Courses of the Region, the 27 Golf Hotels part of the project and all information about the this nice Region in the centre of Italy.

- The return of the Italian Open that will be played at the Adriatic Golf Club Cervia from the 27th to the 30th of June 2024.

The scenic Adriatic Golf Club Cervia, 27 holes, will host the 81st edition of the Italian Open at the same time the 111th edition of the Tour de France also gets underway on the Adriatic Coast on June 29. It will be the first time Italy’s national Open has been played in the Emilia-Romagna in 31 years, after New Zealand’s Greg Turner took the title at Modena Golf & Country Club in 1993.

Golf in Italy dates back more than a century and since then, the game of golf has grown more and more popular until the recent success of the Ryder Cup last September.

In recent times Emilia Romagna was undoubtedly the frontrunner in attracting golfers from overseas. The region is the gastronomic capital of Italy, is rich in culture, has a dynamic landscape and appeals to both groups of golfers or couples looking for a romantic getaway. From the seaside towns of Rimini and Milano Marittima on the Adriatic Coast, through the region’s capital of Bologna, past the home of Ferrari in Modena and out towards Parma in the west, the region is vast and has a large number of high quality golf courses.
