A strong field of 56 members of the print and electronic Singaporean and Malaysian Media and guests took to the field of Horizon Hills Golf & Country Club. The play was however abandoned to due incessant rain and adverse weather conditions; thus the prizes were up for Lucky Draws. The Media and guests were nevertheless blown away with the Club’s Management superb hospitality and great spread of buffet line and live bands lined up for the evening.
In attendance to grace the event was the Chairman of Gamuda Berhad Dato Mohammed Haji Che Hussein, Executive Directors of Gamuda Berhad Dato’ Goon Heng Wah and Mr. Saw Wah Theng, and Senior General Manager of Horizon Hills Development Tuan Haji Abdul Sahak Safi.
Gamuda Land Group General Manager of Club Operations & Townships; Mr Tang Meng Loon thanked the members of the Media for their unwavering support in showcasing Horizon Hills and has called for stronger ties. Since opened for play in 2008, Horizon Hills has earned a well-deserved reputation and is arguably one of the best golfing destinations in Asia. Golfers can always expect superb golfing conditions at Horizon Hills with lightning fast greens, which can be primed to roll at speeds of more than 12 on the Stimpmeter. The Australian architect Ross Watson layout exemplifies risk-reward golf and is consistently maintained to the highest standards.
