During the last edition of the International Tourism Trade Market in Madrid (FITUR), the Costa Blanca Golf Association (CBGA) launched the Costa Blanca Golf Club.
The CBGA is a non benefit organization formed by 15 golf courses located all over the province of Alicante (La Sella, Javea, Ifach, Don Cayo, Bonalba, Alicante Golf, Font del Llop, La Marquesa, La Finca, Vistabella, Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Real Club Campoamor, Las Colinas y Lo Romero) and several hotels, travel agencies and national and international tour operators. It was founded in 1992, this is why to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Association, its members decided to announce this project.
The Costa Blanca Golf Club integrates under the same brand all the golf and tourist services existing in Alicante (golf, activities, gastronomy, monuments). The aim is to obtain a maximum quality product with an own identity by means of the promotion and marketing events. Thanks to this idea, the Costa Blanca will possibly be the most important Golf Tourism example in Spain and Europe.
This project has been created thanks to the subvention of the Valencia Region Tourism Board. And, in this presentation, the Association had the support of the Costa Blanca Tourism Board.
Every year, Alicante province welcomes to more than 500.000 golf players from different countries. The Costa Blanca is one of the most popular destinations for golfers because of the quality of its golf courses, good weather and varied complementary offer.
