IAGTO LITE

As the global trade association of the golf tourism industry, we have created IAGTO LITE in order to be able to support all golf courses, golf clubs, golf resorts and selected hotels worldwide during the Covid‐19 crisis and in the recovery period. You will always have the option to join IAGTO as a full member, but meanwhile, IAGTO LITE is entirely free of charge to any golf facility or selected hotels for which domestic or international golf travel is usually an important revenue stream.

*selected hotels = any hotel with a contract with any IAGTO member golf tour operator or IAGTO member DMC (inbound golf tour operator/ground handler)

General IAGTO Benefits

While the services available to IAGTO LITE golf facilities and hotels are significantly limited compared to those for full IAGTO members, you will have still receive the weekly IAGTO News Bulletin which is the most widely read news source for the golf travel industry worldwide.

Terms & Conditions

IAGTO LITE is available only to selected hotels* and to all golf facilities (golf courses, golf clubs and golf resorts) that are actively involved in the golf tourism industry and for whom visitor revenue represents an important revenue stream, even if it may be secondary to memberships or real estate sales. Golf Resorts are defined as golf courses with a hotel on site under either the same ownership or management.

IAGTO LITE registration does not confer IAGTO membership status on the golf club, golf resort or hotel. The benefits of IAGTO LITE are expected to run at least until then end of 2021 if not beyond.

Once registered, IAGTO LITE facilities may add additional contacts to receive IAGTO communications and to have access to the IAGTO website. These individuals may receive occasional emails from IAGTO with important notifications or updates on the golf tourism industry, including the regular Covid‐19 and Golf Tourism News bulletins. Individuals can opt out of receiving the regular News Bulletins at any time.

IAGTO LITE registered golf facilities and hotels can choose to cancel their registration at any time and with no delay or penalty.
