IAGTO Asia Golf Tourism Convention: 22-25 April 2012

The Host Destination

Tourism Malaysia is a host sponsor of the Asia Golf Tourism Convention and we are delighted with the emphasis that it is putting on the value of golf tourism within its overall tourism development strategy. Malaysia is rapidly emerging as South-East Asia’s latest golfing haven. With almost two hundred golf courses across the country, Malaysia offers an incredible range of experience to visiting golfers of all standards and nationalities.

MGTA

IAGTO Golf Tourism Audit
Report for Malaysia

With the assistance of IAGTO, the Malaysia Golf Tourism Association (MGTA) was launched in 2011 as the representative body of golf tourism in the country. The MGTA has a clear four year strategy to develop golf tourism to Malaysia, and the IAGTO Asia Golf Tourism Convention is an essential part of this strategy and will also represent a landmark moment for the MGTA.

Golf resorts, golf clubs, hotels and ground handlers in Malaysia receive joint MGTA-IAGTO membership and therefore all MGTA members are entitled to the discounted IAGTO registration fees for the Convention.
