The Estonian Golf Association at La Cala Resort

09 February 2010

The Estonian Golf Association stayed and trained at the resort for a week in January.

The elite squad comprised of the leading boys & girls of various ages from clubs in their home country preparing for the coming season and received instructions from the head coach of the Estonian Golf Association, Enrico Villo, and his team.

In the group was Mari Suursalu who is hoping to be a future star on the new division of the Ladies European Tour, LET Access Series, the first events which take place in France in February this year.

Enrico Villo said that the week was a great success. The squad enjoyed the practice facilities and the three challenging 18 holes golf course. Another plus point was the fact that the onsite La Cala Resort Hotel offered a complete practice & playing package.

La Cala Resort looks foward to following the progress of these talented youngsters from an emerging golfing nation as they make their way in the world of golf.
